Obituary of Richard “Gary” Pirko
Peacefully passed away at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Friday, February 4, 2022, at the age of 69. Loving Father of Brad (Sheena) Pirko and Tyler Pirko (Alysia Sandherr). Proud Grampa of Xayne, Kyana, Alexis and Gavin. He will be remembered by his extended family and friends for being strong-willed, determined, adventurous, often humorous and sarcastic. He will always be loved by his children and grandchildren. Gary was predeceased by his parents Jim and Helen Pirko. In accordance with Gary’s wishes, cremation has taken place and arrangements are entrusted with Essentials Cremation and Burial Services. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be given to CASON.He said, “If ever there is a tomorrow when we’re not together, there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we’re apart, I’ll always be with you.” – A.A. Milne

Ive known GARY Pirko. all my life. He was a real rambler. Ive had many beers with Gary especially around the Main St. area. He was someone to .chat with. I always .had a hard time finding him though because every bar I went to he was always kicked out of. He wasn’t ever afraid to speak his mind…I’ll miss Gary.
