Obituary of Richard D. Jones
It is with great sadness that we announce that Richard passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021, at the Welland Hospital. He has been reunited with the love of his life, Anne Shirley (2007). Richard is survived by his brother Bill (Gloria), sister Shirley, and by many nieces and nephews. He will be fondly remembered by Brenda Linton and her family. Predeceased by his brothers Earl, Bud, Jack, Howie, and sisters Betty and Helen. A special thank you to the staff at Stamford Estates and to Richard's palliative care team for their compassionate support. As per Richard's request, there will be no visiting, and burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted with Essentials Cremation and Burial Services. I will miss you Uncle Dick. The love you and Anne shared inspired me so many times in my life. My father Jack died when I was very young but I remember Dick and Anne’s visits. They were so in love and so sweet to me. I seen him a few times in later years and he was always smiling and kind. With his fabulous hair and big smile. He is out of pain now and with his dearest Anne. Rest in Peace.
