He will be remembered as a genuinely nice guy who had a remarkable ability to effortlessly make friends anywhere he went. Ray had the biggest heart, and never had a bad word to say about anyone. He was always ready and willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Ray had a passion for traveling, whether he was exploring the world solo, with friends or with family. Those who knew him best would say that "if the plane was leaving, Ray was on it." He was particularly enamored with the natural beauty of Costa Rica. Ray enjoyed gardening and bird watching. He had a taste for fine wine and dining and enjoyed the culinary experience of going out for dinner. Ray will be sorely missed, but will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved him.

To Ray’s family my sincerest condolences. I was a friend of Ray at Thorold High – he was an incredible friend. We connected online a few years ago – he came to cheer me on in a race and I’ll never forget it. As I went to wish him a Happy Birthday today, I was so sad to hear the news. I will cherish memories of him always.
Ray will always hold a special place in our hearts and memories.
To the family…May you find peace and comfort in the memories of your time shared together. He was a wonderful person who brought a smile to your face. My deepest sympathy. Sorry I missed his celebration of life. Ray was a friend and co-worker. Ray will truly be missed. Rest in peace.
I worked with Ray for many years @ CRA and shared many a laugh with him. He was a great guy and we often talked about Kevin’s hockey career. He will be missed by many.
I worked with Ray back in the late 90’s and to this day I remember who he was and what he stood for. Just a kind, spirited person. Everyone loved Ray because of the person he was. I recall a conversation with him that he would go to Boxas Del Toros and maybe retire there. It sounds like he managed to travel which I was happy to hear.
Now he will travel the heavens
My deepest condolences to the family
To all the Green Family:
We were shocked to hear of Raymond’s passing.
Please know we are thinking of you at this sad time.
I first met Ray on his first day at CRA as I was one of his trainers. I knew from the very beginning how smart he was but more importantly I knew what an amazing person he was. He always went above & beyond to help anyone out & he could always be counted on as a source of valuable knowledge. His wonderful sense of humour made everyone want to be around him and he will be greatly missed by me & everyone who was fortunate enough to know & love him.
My sincere condolences to his family
I worked with Ray for many years at the CRA. He was an awesome guy. He was good-natured, kind, helpful, funny, professional and always conscientious of his work He will be missed.
My sincere condolences to his family.
I had the privilege of working with Ray at CRA. He was one in a million. ????
So sad to hear of Ray’s passing. We worked together for many years, and he was such an awesome guy! Loved his sarcasm and phrase “Bite me’ always made me laugh! He was so generous with his time stopping to help others, and he hardly ever said no when asked for assistance. I’m glad he traveled so much with his family and friends and lived his life on his terms. Gone too soon, but will be remembered fondly. My condolences to his family.
Sincere condolences to the family in the loss of Ray…..He was such a genuine and nice person….,may he rest in peace

Ray was such a total sweetbert. I worked with him for several years in St Catharines, and honestly, you could not find a nicer guy.
He was so funny and sarcastic and was always laughing or would make you laugh.
We were on the gardening committee together, and we would head to Cat’s caboose after, where I would get to hear some great stories.
