Obituary of Peter John McAllister

Peter John McAllister passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022. He leaves his wife of over 40 years, Ann Louise (Ciccale) and is survived by his stepsons Bret and Christian as well as his grandson Jaden. He is predeceased by his parents John (1986) and Ethel McAllister (2001) and his brother Stephen (2010).

Peter is a seven year veteran of the RCAF serving in Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and Metz France. He is a graduate of NFCVI and received his honours BA degree from McMaster University in 1970. He was employed as a Labour Relations Officer with Ontario Hydro; as Manager of Labour Relations for British Columbia Hydro; as President of the Health Labour Relations Association of British Columbia; Administrator of the Vancouver Island Cancer Center; President of the Juan de Fuca Geriatric Hospital Society and held senior positions with the Capitol Region Health Authority in Victoria BC. He and his wife Ann Louise lived on the West Coast (Vancouver, Richmond, Salt Spring Island and Victoria) during their time in BC. They returned to Barrie Ontario where Peter ended his career as the CEO of the Odd Fellows Senior Citizens complex. On Peter's retirement in 2001, they returned to Niagara Falls to be close to their families.

In keeping with Peter’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905-354-2133)
