Obituary of Peter Theodore Biggar
Sadly, we announce that Peter Biggar peacefully passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Douglas Memorial Hospital; the very place he was born almost 69 years ago. He has been reunited with his parents Stanley and Joan (née Piercy) and his siblings Wendy and Becky. He was the devoted father to Gillian Biggar and Casey "Coach" Biggar, a cherished papa to his "sunbeams" Piper and Penelope and a beloved brother to Norm (Marilyn), Cindy, Linda, Sharon and Sandra.Pete spent over 50 dedicated years working in the construction industry across Ontario as an heavy equipment Operator and Supervisor. Pete was a social individual who cherished his friendships. A passionate outdoorsman, he found joy in fishing, snowmobiling and hunting with his brother Norm. He eagerly anticipated Wednesday night dinners with his nephew Jason and loved to cook with friends, a testament to his love for social gatherings and good times.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Pete's life will be held at a future date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services in Niagara Falls.
