Obituary of Paul Joseph Turcotte

Paul Joseph Turcotte, passed away on October 15, 2023 at NHS-Niagara Falls Site at the age of 62. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Lucien and Aurore (née Levesque), his daughter Nicole, and his brother Raymond. He is survived by his son Daniel, siblings Norman (Lori) and Lucie (Dave), as well as niece Jodi (Tom), nephews Kevin, Ryan (Amanda), Brad (Melissa), great-niece, great-nephews, cousins, dear friends and Heather, mother to Daniel and Nicole.

Paul was a man of few words, yet his actions spoke volumes. He devoted 30 years to Red Path as a talented mechanic, showcasing his diverse skills and unfaltering work ethic. He could find a way to fix almost anything. Paul enjoyed family camping trips to Sherkston and up North.
Paul's selflessness and unwavering dedication touched all who knew him. He had a subtle sense of humor that brought joy to those around him. He never complained and was always willing to assist others.

In keeping with Paul's wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre, the Canadian Diabetes Association, or a charity of your choice, in honor of Paul's giving spirit. The family extends their heartfelt appreciation to Paul's housemates for their compassion and care and the dedicated teams at Juravinski and Palliative Homecare.
Paul's legacy is one of kindness, humility and a willingness to help. He leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him, but his memory will inspire us to carry on his legacy of selflessness and generosity.

We are so saddened by the news of Paul’s passing. I remember him as a funny, kind and generous. Many laughs and stories shared while chilling in his parents basement. Paul stood up for us as an usher at our wedding and unfortunately we lost touch over the years but I always knew there was a distant friend I could rely on if I ever need one. Our sincerest condolences to friends and family.

I/we pledge to make a memorial donation.
