Obituary of Patricia Warburton

Peacefully surrounded by her loving family, Patricia passed away at the Port Colborne Hospital on Friday, September 30, 2022, at the age of 79. She will be forever loved by her husband of 57 years, Fred, and by their children Michael and Jennifer (Kevin) Rennie. She was a loving Grandma of Ally-Ann and Ethan, and a special grandmother to her step grandchildren, Stephanie, Jacob and Kyle. Patricia will be dearly missed by her sister-in-law Dianne (Ken) Janes and Donna Warburton. She will also be missed by her niece Sarah, and by her loving and faithful dog, Sadie. Patricia was predeceased by her parents Peggy and Bob Clark.

Most will remember Patricia as quiet and someone who enjoyed being in her home. It is when she was home with Fred, that she would find great joy in a couple of her favourite hobbies such as watching British mysteries on PBS and doing crosswords on her laptop (which conveniently assisted her when she got stuck on a word). Patricia's greatest passion was for animals and she adored her dog (which was a rescue). Those special moments in her life and spending time with family are the memories we will cherish and remember her by.

A special thank you to her family doctor Dr. Habing, nurses and support staff at Lincoln Medical Centre in Beamsville, to all the doctors and nurses of the St. Catharines General Hospital and the palliative care team at the Port Colborne Hospital for their compassionate care and support that gave to Patricia. In accordance with Patricia's wishes cremation has taken place. Arrangements are entrusted with Essentials Cremation and Burial Services 905-354-2133. In memory of Patricia, memorial donations given to the Niagara SPCA (Welland location) would be greatly appreciated by our family.
