Obituary of Patricia George

Passed away peacefully at her home with her loving family at her side, on October 12, 2021. Devoted wife and soulmate of 45 years to David George. Loving mother of Cheryl (Trevor Tiessen) and Christine. She will be remembered and forever loved by her grandchildren; Zachary, Cameron and Lisanne. Dear sister of Paul and the late Jennifer Langelaan (Rob). She’s missed by her nephews Brendan (Maddy), Nicholas and her niece Melissa.
Dave and Patricia met in England and married in the UK in 1976 and moved to Canada that same year. Patricia had many interests from travelling to gardening, but her passion was music. She enjoyed teaching music and was proud of her accomplishments, especially her certificate of First-Class Honours from the Royal Conservatory of Music. The family would like to send a special thanks to the nurses for their compassionate care, Colleen, Jocelyne and Trina. In keeping with Patricia’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will gather at Essentials Cremation and Burial Services, 221 Division Street, Welland on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 10 a.m. until service time at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Wellspring Niagara or Ovarian Cancer Canada would be appreciated by the family.
