Obituary of Pamela Elaine Crocco
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Pamela Elaine Crocco (née Stone-Jackson), who left us on December 14, 2025, in the city she called home, Niagara Falls, Ontario, at the age of 78.She leaves behind her loving husband of 60 years, Frank Crocco. Together, they were blessed with three children whom she loved dearly: Eva (Chase), Renee (Vincent Montagano), and Gabrielle (Wayne). Pamela was a devoted grandmother to Michael, Anthony, Ava (Christian), Jessica, and Emily, and a cherished great-grandmother to Alyana, Liam, and Evan.
She will be fondly remembered by her sister Kathy Yamich (Steve), her brother-in-law Anthony Crocco (Lisa), and her sister-in-law Rose Maturi. Pamela was predeceased by her parents Benny and Elaine Stone-Jackson; her siblings Danny, Susan, Janie, and Debbie; her brother-in-law Fernando and sister-in-law Linda Crocco; and her nephew Frankie.
She will also be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews Susie, Rosemary, Wendy, Stephan, Nicole, Shelley and Danny as well as many other extended family members, and friends.
Pamela was an incredible woman; kind, nurturing, fierce, and independent, she was the most comforting and selfless person you could know. Pam left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She raised her children with love and guided her family to become the people they are today, reflecting the values she lived by.
Pamela was an amazing and welcoming cook. Her red pepper sauce was a cherished holiday tradition that will be missed. She made the best apple pie and, as per her husband Frank, the very best fruit cake. She was a writer whose wise words spoke beautifully through her work, creating pieces filled with imagination and meaning.
Beyond her own writing, Pamela had a deep appreciation for the author Ralph Waldo Emerson, whose reflections on self-reliance resonated with her. This philosophy reflected her fierce personality, always standing up for others, being protective of those she loved, and carrying the strong, generous heart of an Aussie.
She loved animals, especially dogs, and found great comfort and joy in their loyal companionship. She was a talented quilter and seamstress who stitched love and care into every piece she made. Pam also had an appreciation for music and dancing celebrating life with joy, laughter, and movement. She cherished the cozy holiday seasons, Christmas and Thanksgiving in particular, embracing the decorations, traditions, and time spent together. These seasons brought her immense happiness.
She was an incredibly giving person. During the holidays, when her children were in school, she encouraged them to find a classmate who might not receive much during that time and to help make the season special by choosing gifts for them. She also lovingly prepared Christmas baskets for family members, each one thoughtfully curated to reflect the personality and interests of the recipient.
Pamela was immensely proud of her family, her children and grandchildren were her life, she will live on through those who loved her. In her memory, take a moment to watch a beautiful pink-and-orange sunset, just as she used to do with her children. May this be a time to reflect on her life and to cherish the many happy memories.
