Obituary of Pamela Lynne Heise

The Heise and Crewson families announce the death of Pam on Friday, April 2, 2021. Pam battled an illness for two years and now is free of her suffering. For this we are very thankful.

Pam was the much-loved daughter of Roger and Barbara Heise, sister to Marianne Crewson, sister-in-law to Geoff Crewson, and very proud aunt of Charlotte and Scott.

Pam was a bit of an adventurous soul. She loved her country life, her dogs, helping children and people as a Social Worker, and teaching English to Spanish children in Panama. Pam was a good friend to people from all walks of life. She will be missed by so many.

Cremation has taken place. Arrangements are entrusted with Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905-354-2133). There has been a private family service. When the COVID restrictions are lifted there will be a gathering of the “near and dear” to celebrate her life.

Pam asked that any donations in her memory be made to Pathstone Mental Health Foundation or to Hospice Niagara. Donations and online condolences may be shared on Pam’s tribute page found at EssentialsNiagara.com

I was blessed to meet Pam in our early years of working at the hospital. Her office was next to mine and we quickly became friends. We spent many days laughing and experiencing life through each other’s eyes. I have so many memories of times together. Pam and I lost touch once she left for Panama and I want her family to know that I’ve thought of her often and always wished her well on her jouneys. I feel blessed to have walked with Pam through those years and will always cherish our time together. Rest in peace , my friend xoxo

Dear Barb, Roger, Marianne and family,
I am so sorry for your tragic loss. Pam was one of the most beautiful people I have ever met. I have so many happy memories of being with Pam at the beach, and even though we didn’t see each other much in the last decade or so, I know that on the occasions we did, it was as if no time had passed. Rarely have I met someone so warm and loving and accepting she had a gift of making people feel loved and accepted. I’m holding you all in my heart, and sending you all so much love.

I had the pleasure of working with Pam when she was working as a Social Worker at Millennium Trail Manor. She was such a kind and compassionate person who was respected by her colleagues and loved by the residents she visited. We all enjoyed listening to the stories of her travels. Dear Barb, Roger, Marianne, Geoff, Scott and Charlotte,
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I remember Pam so vividly with her welcoming smile. She always offered me a spot to sit and time to chat, whether I was tagging along with the gang on the beach or calling on Marianne, or just coming by to say hello. I hope that you feel surrounded by love during this difficult time.
