Obituary of Sabrina Rose St.Angelo

January 1, 1997- August 20, 2022

It is with heavy hearts we announce Sabrina's sudden passing. She was daughter to the late Michelle St. Angelo, and is survived by her sister Simone (Michael) Cornish, and father Ivan Hinkson. Beloved granddaughter to Carl (the late Mabel) St.Angelo. Dear niece to Jennifer St.Angelo-Hale and Robert St.Angelo. Sabrina recently became an Aunt to James Cornish and she was a cousin to many.

Sabrina was a shining star as a recent graduate of Niagara College's nursing program and became a Registered Practical Nurse employed with the Niagara Region. She was also a certified Yoga Teacher and will be remembered as an animal lover.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be announced at a future date. Donations in memory of Sabrina may be given to Niagara Falls Community Cats or Niagara Region Mental Health.

Sabrina's star will shine bright in our hearts and continue to be forever in our thoughts. We will miss her always.

I’m so sorry to learn today of Sabrinas passing. We were online friends over the last ten years and she was a close friend to me at a time when I had nobody. She always made me laugh during the great times we spent together over text and skype calls, where we bonded over our love of our favourite singers. I had promised to come visit her in Niagara sometime. I am devastated that this is no longer a possibility but hopefully I will meet my friend in the next life. My sincere condolences to her grandfather, aunt and all of the lucky people who knew Sabrina in person.

I had the pleasure of mentoring Sabrina during her consolidation. Sabrina was nothing less than an amazing nursing student. She always showed up on time and was eager to learn and practice her skills. Sabrina knew exactly what she wanted to do once she finished her consolidation and achieved it Shortly after. I enjoyed having her as a student and will cherish the time we spent together. Rest in paradise beautiful

Sabrina, in the short time you were working with me, you were an amazing nurse and you fit right in ☺️ it’s like you worked there forever….you were such a natural caregiver and your sense of humor was refreshing! You have no idea the impact you made on those who just met you! You will be missed! You are in my thoughts my dear, I always looked forward to my weekends that I had to work to see your name. It was such a relief to see you! You were such a special soul 💛 You made an impact in such a short time with us, i am so grateful you came into our lives ❤️

It’s taken me a very long time to decide what to write. because I have been speechless. You were a beautiful soul Sabrina. I wish you knew how much you were loved and that I could take the pain away that you felt. You are missed deeply by your yoga community at Lost ‘n Found Yoga. Sabrina,

I am so grateful to have met you in nursing school. Since day one I knew instantly we’d be friends for a lifetime. I’m going to miss our texts back and forth about ‘Which flavour of kombucha are you going to buy today?’.

You were my biggest supporter during and outside of school. I’m also going to miss our hikes at the Gorge on those hot summer days, and going through a million practice runs for our demos together.

I’ll miss you everyday sweet angel. Thank you for being such a positive light in my life. Rest In Peace 🕊🤍

Love Ness 🤍

I made special effort to go to Sabrina’s yoga classes. She exuded peace and calm. She led from her heart which filled the room with warmth and softness. She has a special energy that I feel privileged to have shared with her during practice. Her energetic touch will continue to guide and inspire me.

Sabrina,

This past weekend many of us learnt such devastating news. It is still so hard for me to believe this is true. You are loved by so many and will continue to be loved by us all. I was so fortunate to meet you during nursing school. You were always the first one to show up to placement and were always so eager to learn. You had one of the most positive attitudes one could have, I always felt so comfortable coming to you when I was having such a terrible day because I just knew you’d make the bad into something positive.. always. I will never forget the time we shared together. Whether it be studying for a big test, learning something cool at placement, having lunch together or even just our conversations we shared over the phone.
May you continue to be a wonderful human, nurse and yoga instructor up in heaven darling. I love you very much and I will see you soon again one day🤍

Rest in peace Sabrina, until we meet again.

Xo, Beth

It is so sad to hear such news that you lost Sabrina.
My deepest condolences to her beloved family.

However, I would like to remind you all that Sabrina is still alive since our soul is eternal and she only transitioned to another dimension of life.
Her physical body dies but not her soul. We are the extension of the non-physical world experiencing human nature on this planet Earth to learn about life
lessons.

I had the privilege of teaching and mentoring Sabrina through the NC nursing program, I was fortunate enough to have her twice… Once in hospital and once during her consolidation. Sabrina was a kind, compassionate student with a deep hunger to learn. She was the first clinical and the last to leave. She enjoyed caring for others, and would push her limits every day to be the best she could be. I will truly cherish the times that I spent with her, and I am so grateful to have been a small part of her beautiful life. Rest in peace Sabrina, my condolences to family, peers and friends

Sabrina was a very special person. She was one of my favourite yoga teachers and always brought joy and thoughtfulness to her classes. Her smile lit up a room and she seemed so excited about her nursing career. My deepest condolences to her family and close friends. Knowing her the little way that I did I can only imagine your great loss.

Sabrina’s smile lit up every room she would walk into. I could not have asked for a better friend. Sabrina was always there anytime you needed her. I have the most amazing memories spending time in nature with Sabrina, hiking, visiting the beach and sitting by the water watching the sunset. Sabrina will forever hold a special place in my heart. She was such an amazing and beautiful women. My condolences to her family, including to Her grandpa Carl and her aunt Jennifer. She spoke so highly of both of you and loved you two so much. She would always share with me how much the two of you meant to her. My sincerest condolences.

You were on of my only friends. But truly the closest. And I will forever hold a heavy heart. I will cherish our time together we had. I will always look up to the sky and continue to talk to you. You were so beautiful so strong, so brave. You helped me when I needed you the most, you were there at the darkest times. You gave the best advice and you were not afraid to speak the truth. I will forever be a changed person because of you. I’m going to miss your chunky soy matcha, crazy closes, and reminiscing our diabolical plans. One day we’ll meet again. And I know your the first person I’ll see. I love you ❤️ My condolences to the family, I am so so sorry for your loss.
