Obituary of Nora Spiteri

Spiteri, Nora

It is with broken hearts that the family of Nora Spiteri (Brisson) announce her unforeseen death at the age of 68. Nora was often described as someone who made everyone around her feel comfortable and special. Her kind and giving nature shone through as a Daughter, Sister, Soulmate, Mother, Grandmother, Family Member, and Friend. Nora is predeceased by her parents Gilles and Ghislaine Brisson (Nolet), who she will now be sharing stories with over a hot cup of coffee. As a sister to Huguette Beaulieu (late Gaetan), Raymonde Brisson, and Pauline Brisson, Nora will be remembered for being strong-willed and always happy, smiling, and laughing. She loved watching the Blue Jays and was always up for a shopping trip, dining out, or funny ‘Hey Google’ conversation. Soulmate to Chuck for 40 years, they created many cherished memories raising their family as they travelled with the military. Mother to Amy (deceased), Chad, and April Marton (Bill), Nora will be missed most for her honest guidance, support, generosity, and for giving unconditional love. As a Grandmother, Nora was the Greatest of All Time. Brody and Blake were the most precious to Nora, and she found great joy in attending their sports activities as their # 1 fan and contributing to their hockey card collections. Auntie Nora to many nieces and nephews, and a special part of the Brisson, Nolet, and Spiteri families, Nora will be remembered for her warmth, always offering kindness and conversation. Selfless and compassionate, Nora was loved by all, will be missed by many, and we are all honoured to have her as part of our stories.

If so desired, donations may be made to The War Amps of Canada (www.waramps.ca) or Crohn's and Colitis Canada (https://crohnsandcolitis.ca/). Sorry to hear that Nora has passed away. I remember her standing in front of uncle Raymond’s place in Cornwall…getting her photo taken.
She seemed to have a full life with lots of family members around her.
My condolences to all.

I would like to send my condolences to the whole family for their loss. To my dear friend April and her lovely family know that we are thinking about you at this difficult time. I enjoyed sitting with Nora at games and chatting. You could see the love for her grandsons on her face as she watched them.

In loving memory ...
I/we pledge to make a memorial donation.
