Obituary of Noémie Porteus
It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Noémie Porteus (Topalian) on November 11, 2021 at the Hamilton General Hospital at the age of 35. Noémie grew up in Quebec and France, and eventually attended boarding school at Niagara Christian College, where she met her husband Justin, whom she married under an ancient willow tree beside the Niagara River.Noémie leaves behind Justin, her husband of 16 years, and their three children; Lily, Liam and Gavin. She is also survived by her brothers Phillipe Brière and Martin Brière. Noémie will have a private green burial in the Willow’s Rest section of Fairview Cemetery in Niagara Falls.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to Project Share would be appreciated by the family. Essentials Cremation and Burial Services were entrusted with the arrangements. Online condolences may be shared on Noémie’s tribute page found at EssentialsNiagara.com.
