Obituary of Nicholas Fuentes-Pride
It is with great sorrow that the family of Nicholas Fuentes-Pride announces his sudden passing on January 14th at the age of 27. Nicholas was the beloved son of Guillermo Fuentes (Jacquie) of Niagara Falls and Linda Pride-Medeiros (John) of Halifax, and the wonderful husband of Brittany Davies of Niagara Falls. He is survived by his step-mom Christina Armistead of Niagara Falls, brother Tyler (Chloe) of Barrie, sister Cassandra of Niagara Falls, brother Jesse (Tara), sisters Shawna and Amanda (Liam) of Halifax, step-brother Alexander Neal (Heather) of St. Catharines and step-sister Kai Tyrmerik of Toronto. He also leaves his abuela Hilda Fuentes, Aunt Jocelyne, cousins Sebastian and Macarena, his dog Lady, all of Niagara Falls, and his many incredible friends. He joins his loving Papa, Guillermo Sr., and his grandparents Keith and Aline Pride. If Nic was one thing he was a Dungeon Master and one of the best there ever was. He was a storyteller, gamer, chess player, wrestler, aspiring writer, lover of wine and orange juice, avid watcher of anime, adorer of dogs and so much more. But most importantly he was an amazing son, husband, and friend, who would do anything to make you feel welcome around him and would always ensure your beer was never empty. Though he leaves us far too soon, he will always be deeply loved, remembered, and missed by all who knew him.

My sincerest condolences to Christina, Tyler, Cassandra and Brittany. How does one express the sorrow one feels for the pain and broken hearts that those so close to Nic are having to endure? It is difficult, so I will just say that you are all in my thoughts. May you find strength in the coming days, weeks, and months to carry on and remember he will never be far from you, as he will always be close by in your memories and in your hearts. xoxo.
