Obituary of Michel "Mitch" Tardif
TARDIF, Michel "Mitch"It is with heavy hearts that the Tardif family announces the passing of our beloved Mitch, on Friday, July 12, 2019 at the Port Colborne Hospital, at the age of 76. He leaves behind his devoted wife Marilu, daughter Michele (Patrick) Verriet, his much loved grandson Ethan, son Adam (Courtney), siblings Fern (Carol), John (Tana), Gerry (Flo), Marcel (Nicky), Francine (Ron), Carole (Roger), and his sisters-in-law Rosemary, Chris Ladouceur, Verna (Rolly) Bisson, Linda (Frank) Buonocore. Predeceased by Christian "Buck". He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Mitch was employed by United Van Lines, Ennis Steel and Talman Transport, where he drove coast to coast for 46 years. In keeping with Mitch's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of his Life at a later date. We would like to thank the 2W nursing staff of the Port Colborne Hospital, Dr. Tony Saliba, Dr. K. Scher, and Dr. Courtney Manser. The paramedics and EMS staff, ParaMed nurses and the LHIN Group. May he rest in peace.
