Obituary of Meagan Alyse Pastachak
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Meagan Alyse Pastachak on June 6, 2024. Born on December 2, 1985, Meagan brought joy and light into the lives of everyone she met.Predeceased by her grandparents Pauline and Steve Pastachak, and Madelene and Leonard Rozell, Meagan leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth. She is survived by her loving partner, Kevin Campbell, and her devoted parents, Craig and Bonnie Pastachak. She will be deeply missed by her aunts and uncles, Ken Pastachak, Pam (Will) Michael, and Bill Rozell, as well as many cherished cousins.
Meagan was known for her outgoing and boisterous personality, her caring nature, loyalty, and an insatiable curiosity that led her to try new hobbies, most recently vegetable gardening. She had a talent for baking and cooking, delighting her family with delicious meals. Her creative spirit shone through her crocheting and nail art. One of her favourite pastimes was playing video games with her friends.
Meagan had an immense love for animals of all kinds, with a particular love for her two dogs, Thor and Rory.
A celebration of Meagan's life will be held on June 22, 2024, at the home of Tracy and Gerald Etten, 177 Willson Road, Welland. Friends and family are welcome to drop in anytime between 1 pm and 5 pm to share memories and celebrate her life.
Cremation has been entrusted with Essentials Cremation and Burial Services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Niagara in Meagan's honor.
Meagan's vibrant spirit and loving heart will be forever remembered and cherished by all who knew her.

Sending my deepest sympathy and love during this impossibly heartbreaking time. Meagan was so incredibly loving, thoughtful, smart and talented in everything she put her mind to.
I am so lucky to have had over 17 years of friendship with Meagan, though it is not nearly enough time. I will miss her and think of her every day.

My deepest condolences to your family. I have fond memories of childhood games of hide and seek and capture the flag played in Aunt Pauline’s yard. I am so sorry to hear of this tragic loss.
So sorry to hear this tragic news. I remember playing Spyro in Meagan’s room, listening to NOFX and blink 182. Hanging out as teenagers and having fun. I remember the friendships we had and think fondly of the years that shaped our lives. Meagan will be sorely missed by all the lives she’s touched. I’m glad to have been a small part of her life and her mine. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.
I was shocked to hear about this and to Meagan’s family I am sorry for your loss. We lost touch over the years but I have many good memories. She was a great person and I know she will be missed.
I honestly can’t believe this we were best friends for so long I wish we would have met up when we talked last life is short I will miss and love you forever
We were never able to meet Meagan but we know she loved our son Kevin, and he loved Meagan.
When we did talk, she always had fun stories to tell us about Kevin or the fur babies Rory and Thor.

My heart is breaking with this news. My condolences Bonnie and Craig. Meagan was a great friend and we spent many days hanging out and just recently started talking more often. She was always like my little sister no matter how much time was in between us talking it was always like we never lost a day.
