Obituary of Mary Kimberley Duckworth
It is with unexpected and profound sorrow, Mary's family announce her passing of natural causes on January 12, 2023 in her 59th year. She is predeceased by her longtime companion, Dean Bigelow, her brother Gerald Graves, and sister-in-law Donna. She will be remembered by brother David (Marilyn), sister Helen (Leo), many nieces and nephews whose hearts are broken at the loss of their beloved aunt, and caring cousins near and far. Mary was known for her thoughtfulness toward others, generosity, love for animals, and especially for her clever wit. Comedy was her gift and she could always make people laugh. Special thanks goes out to Mary's niece, Melissa Graves, who went above and beyond to be helpful and supportive when the tragic news was received, taking charge when all the rest were too fragile. Special thanks also goes out to Mary's wonderful devoted longtime friend, Chris Palmer. Friends like Chris are few and precious and Mary's family are deeply grateful for her. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 30 at 11 a.m. at Lundy's Lane Cemetery, 7489 Lundy's Ln, Niagara Falls, ON. A reception will follow. Donations in Mary's memory can be made to Tender Wishes or Niagara Dog Rescue.Service Information

Mary was my mother’s best friend. She was a lovely, funny lady with a sweet smile and a bright laugh and I’m very sorry to hear of her early passing.

Dear aunt Mary there are no words in my vocabulary to be enough.
One of the most down to earth people you will ever meet .so kind so funny so loving a true heart of gold not a judgmental bone in her body .we definitely lost one of God’s great angels. She loved her family friends and pets as pure as you can .an amazing person that definitely made life better for all around her .you will be dearly missed but never forgotten. Mary was the baby of the family. She and I delighted in our positions – I the oldest cousin and she the youngest – therefore I had the position of matriarch who could share early memories with the younger ones.A brilliant student, she was accelerated twice during her elementary school years.She will be remembered for her kind heart, strength, sensitivity and love of animals. She possessed all the special qualities our grandmother used to emphasize to us as we were growing up. Mary was truly an exceptional human being. Rest in Peace sweet girl!
