Obituary of Mary Berezowski
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister. Mary passed away peacefully on May 6, 2023 with family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband Edward and her daughter Karen. Mary is survived by her loving sons, Tim (Silvana) and Tony (Wendy), and her cherished grandchildren Xander, Giulian, Stella, Luke, and Cora. She will also be fondly remembered by her siblings June (Jim) and Ruth (Murray), as well as many nieces and nephews.Mary's passion was her grandkids. She absolutely adored them and could often be found cheering them on at every event she could get to. She loved her family and friends above all else and always put relationships first. Mary was committed to make time and stay in touch with everyone important to her. She loved to laugh, was full of life and happy to help at the drop of a hat. Mary will be forever missed and never forgotten.
In keeping with Mary's wishes, cremation has taken place. Mary's family will receive visitors at Trinity United Church, 15 Pine St. S. Thorold on Wednesday, May 17th from 11 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. with refreshments to follow in the parish hall. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Niagara in Mary's memory would be appreciated. Arrangements are entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services.

I am so very sorry for the loss of Mary. I knew Mary, Karen, and Xander through Trinity United Church. Mary was always someone I looked forward to chatting with at coffee hour. She was lovely and fun to be around. I will miss her. My sincerest condolences to her entire family.

So sorry for your loss. I met Mary through Karen. We were on the same DragonBoat team. When Karen passed away, Mary took her place. She was so much fun to be around and I was so proud of her. She actually gave me Karen’s life jacket to use. RIP sweet lady.. ❤️❤️
