Obituary of Martin "Marty" Schreindorfer

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Marty on July 28, 2023, at the age of 80. Marty was the beloved husband and best friend of Janet for an incredible 38 years. Loving Pa to Matt. Predeceased by his son Michael.

Marty retired from General Motors after 31 years of service, where he worked in Management. It was here that he met Janet, and from that moment on, they became inseparable, the loves of each other's lives. Marty was a trained Mechanical Engineer, and he took immense pride in this accomplishment. He never failed to wear his iron ring, symbolizing his dedication to the profession and the ethical values he held dear. Marty loved spending time in the great outdoors, especially fishing up north in Biscotasing, ON. Over the years, Marty and Janet enjoyed their many travels together, embarking on numerous cruises and trips to Florida.

Those who knew Marty will remember him as a gentle and kind soul, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. His warm smile and compassionate nature touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In accordance with Marty's wishes, cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the War Amps or the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements are entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services.
