Obituary of Mark Daniel Jolley

Peacefully passed away in his sleep on November 27, 2021 Mark Daniel Jolley, will be dearly missed by his common-law wife Linda. He leaves behind his children and grandchildren. Mark will be lovingly remembered by his sister Kathy, Debbie, Donna, and Diane. Mark will be fondly thought of by his Aunt and Uncle Weston, and will be missed by his cousins and friends. Mark is now reunited with his parents Harry and Margaret and his brothers Larry and Brian.

Mark was born and raised in Niagara Falls. He was proud to be from Niagara and was honoured to serve his community by driving taxi cabs and the shuttle for the Hilton for over 15 years. Mark’s favourite pastime was bowling with his wife Linda. Saturday nights they attended the bowling alley as often as they could to enjoy a nice game of bowling together. Mark became so good at this sport that he won first place in the Pappa’s Bowling league. He enjoyed cheering on his favourite hockey team the Montreal Canadiens and watching DIY Renos. Time spent with his dog Harley and his cat Tiger was always cherished and they will miss him.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905-354-2133). As per Mark’s wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of Mark's life will take place at a later date. The family would like to extend a big thank you to Essentials for the best compassionate care during this most difficult time and to the Police officer Zharlie Cina who stayed with Linda on the day of Mark’s passing. The family would also like to give a heartfelt thank you to their dear family friend Mary Page. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
