Obituary of Marie Nellie Alexander
On a starry night on January 7, 2021, our beloved Marie was called to Heaven. She will forever be loved by her parents Wendy and Doug and her brother D.J. Marie will be eternally cherished by her aunts, uncles, and cousins. Her Grandmas, Evelyn and Mary will miss her deeply, but will take comfort in knowing that Papa Fred and Papa George are there to take her into their arms and protect her. She will be forever adored and loved by her Partner Andrew. Her spirit will continue to soar through the friends she has made along the way.Marie, in the days ahead there will be tears and sadness. But when we feel the wind across our faces, we will know that it is you wiping away the tears. As the sun shines upon us, we will know that it is your love filling our hearts. When the rain drops touch our faces, we will feel your kisses upon our skin. Your compassion towards others and animals have shown us to care for all, and we will continue to spread your love.
Marie you are an Angel that has blessed many along your journey. You will continue to bless us from Heaven as we will forever have a special spot in our hearts for you, our Angel Marie.
To honor Marie's love for animals a donation in her memory to Pets Alive Niagara will allow her love to live on in many more hearts.

Dear Wendy, Doug, D.J.,Andrew and Marie’s grandmas, aunts uncles and cousins:
It is hard to get all our thoughts together to send this condolence message. Marie’s sudden passing has broken our hearts. We didn’t see her very often due to the great distance that we live from her but we often thought how great it would have been to have her visit northwestern Ontario. Marie was a beautiful person and we will miss her dearly. We now know that she will be watching over all of us. That brings us great comfort and we hope that as time passes you will feel this comfort too. George and I would like to make a donation to Marie’s animal protection cause as we know that our furry friends bring great joy to everyone. I am extremely sad to hear about Marie’s passing. I don’t think I’ll get over her passing any time soon. She was taken way too soon. She was really a great human being and a heck of a great neighbor growing up.
