Obituary of Margaret "Peggy" Jean Fyfe

It is with heavy hearts we sadly announce the passing of Margaret Jean Fyfe (Peggy) on Friday, January 2, 2026 at the Marotta Family Hospital at the age of 78 with the love and comfort of her family by her side. Known to all who knew her as Peggy, has left to be reunited with her mom Jean, brother Roy, granddaughter Kelly, and many family and friends.

Peggy was a devoted mom to Lisa (John), and Sheri. A loving grandma to Chris, Brandi (Dan) and Kyle. A wonderful great grandma to Alexis, Aliace, Chloe, Sophia, Kristopher and Grayson.
Peggy will also be terribly missed by her partner Daniel, her brother Ray and family friend Howie.

Peggy worked hard in her earlier years doing various jobs as a server/cook, at Stoke Seeds and at Birds moving and Storage as a packer/mover. That all stopped at the age of 35 when she suffered a massive stroke that left her paralyzed on her right side. Two weeks in a coma did not diminish her spirit and determination, she continually fought back to learn and regain her strength and independence.

For many years she enjoyed going to Bingo and meeting new friends always with coffee in hand. Peggy always cherished her time spent with family and friends, being together meant everything to her.

In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no service. If desired donations may be made in Peggy’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
