Obituary of Marcia Ann (Dawe) Riley
Marcia died on Monday August 9, 2021. Marcia leaves behind her daughter Missy, son Kelly, granddaughters Lucy and Ruby; sisters Ginny and Cathy; nieces and nephews Cassandra, Aaron, Holly and Jesse; friends Yvonne, Anne Marie, Jane, Pat and Darlene that will all miss Marcia. She was a special woman, mother, sister, aunt and friend that made everyone feel cared for. Marcia chose not to have an end of life memorial. The family will hold an intimate gathering of her immediate family and friends in the future. If you would like to do something to honour Marcia, please send flowers to someone you love and take a moment every day to hug your loved ones.Essentials Cremation and Burial Services, 221 Division Street, Welland were entrusted with the arrangements.

I was so saddened to hear of the passing of my “coffee buddy”. We spent many a morning together discussing life after we had both retired. We worked together for a few years and Marcia was always full of jokes and laughter. One special memory is of visiting the art museum in Toronto together, we had a blast.
My heart goes out to her family – she was a bright spot in so many people’s lives and will truly be missed.
I worked with Marcia at GNGH and loved working with her, she was always so kind and fun! We had our morning talks on the weekend to figure out what had to be done and we did it! We worked so well together. This really broke my heart hearing this. I will truly miss her! So sorry for your loss!

Marsha made a huge impact on my and my children’s lives… she was very sweet and special to us… my oldest had a very special relationship with Marsha for the last few years cleaning at the dentist office… she will be missed dearly and remembered every day.
