Obituary of Lucille Roberts

With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Lucille Roberts on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital at the age of 80 years old. She leaves behind her loving husband of sixty years Alan, her devoted son John, her cherished grandchildren David and Victoria and her step-father Anthony Marshall. Her siblings Doreen, Bert, Phillip (Sandy) and sister-in-law Rina will carry fond childhood memories of Lucille. She was greeted on the other side by her parents Bertram and Loutshia Wilson, her daughter Tracy (1997) and her brother Tony (2021)

Lucille came to Canada from England in 1963, one year after marrying Alan. It was here that they started their beautiful family and opened their own business, Dorchester Hair Fashions. Lucille worked at the hair salon right to the very end. She loved what she did. She was a very quiet, easy going woman, always giving of her time. She volunteered many hours for Community Living and enjoyed gardening and playing bingo.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905 354 2133). If desired, donations in Lucille's memory may be made to Community Living or to The Niagara Falls Humane Society.
