Lori-Jane “LaLa” StrobridgeFebruary 25, 1959 – October 15, 2023
On October 15th, 2023, Lori-Jane "LaLa" Strobridge, a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully while on a mini-vacation away from home, in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Lori-Jane is predeceased by her son, Michael, her father, William Strobridge, and her stepfather, Sam "Grumps" Arnold. She is survived by her children, Todd (Bernie) Mayer, Trisha (Patrick) Mayer, DJ (Stephanie) Mayer, her mother, Mary Arnold, siblings Mary-Irene (Keith), Cathy (Tim), Jimmy (Virginia), Nancy, and by her close partner of many years, Al. She will be remembered by 13 grandchildren and many loved nieces and nephews.
Lori-Jane lived every moment of her life doing things her way. She was always the life of the party, no matter where she went, and she did her best to make sure everyone around her lived their lives to the fullest. She will be dearly missed by the people in her life that she held dearest to her heart.
A private interment will be taking place, followed by a Celebration of Life on November 17, 2023, starting at 5:30pm, at the Grantham Lions Club, 732 Niagara Street, St. Catharines. Any and all family, friends, and well-wishers are welcome to attend to support the family, and to celebrate Lori-Jane, just the way she wanted us all to. A special thank you to all the staff at Essentials Cremation and Burial Services for their outstanding show of warmth and support during this difficult time. While flowers are welcome, the family also asks that anyone looking to make a donation in her memory, may do so by giving to Pathstone Mental Health.
