Obituary of Liz Beth Black

Liz Black, a spirited and vivacious soul who touched the hearts of all who knew her, passed away on August 17, 2023, at the age of 64. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a deep connection to those who were fortunate to have shared in her life's journey. Liz will forever be missed by her devoted siblings: her twin sister Margaret (Rick) Addario, her brother Greg Black, and her sister Anita Gugliotta (the late Tony). She held a special place in the hearts of her nieces and nephews: Samantha (Sean), Alyssa (Rain), Danielle (Dylan), Cameron (Anne-Marie), and Patrick. Her presence enriched their lives, and her memory will continue to do so. She will be fondly remembered by her best friends Dawn, Michelle, and Annie and lifelong friends Marg and Randy and their family. A true lover of animals, Liz's affinity for cats was unparalleled. Though she leaves behind her beloved cat Kiki, she is now joyfully reunited with her cherished companions Tuphi and Enki.

Liz's zest for life was evident in her passions. An intrepid traveler, she embraced adventure at every corner of the globe. She enjoyed dancing and music, especially hearing it live at concerts. Her keen eye for the unique transformed her into a skilled collector and treasure hunter, and these treasures were a testament to her vibrant spirit.

Fiercely independent and with a mind of her own, Liz was a force to be reckoned with. She was a spunky soul, unafraid to march to the beat of her own drum. Her loyalty to family and friends was unmatched, a fierce defender of those she held dear. Her infectious sense of humor could light up even the darkest days, and her caring nature made her a motherly figure to all, always ensuring to check in with those around her. Liz's unique essence and indomitable spirit shone through in every facet of her being. She embraced life wholeheartedly, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of everyone she encountered. Her memory will be cherished and missed every single day.

In keeping with Liz's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Niagara Falls Humane Society.

Our beautiful neighbour Beth. We were lucky to have her live near by and to get to know her. She was always looking out for the families around her. There was always a wave and a hello, when we went for walks she woukd come out to see the kids. The kids just love her! She gave our daughter a small bubble machine last year and she loves it. Now when we play bubbles we will think of her and the beautiful soul she was. We will miss you everyday and remember you always. ❤️ Rest in peace dear Beth, until we meet again. Our condolences go out to her family during this time. May memories and love are kept in your hearts.

We were so lucky to have had Beth for our neighbor and we considered her a good friend. Her laughter was contagious and she was always there to help us in so many ways. We have many memories of bonfires and concerts and puttering around each others back yards. Too soon to be taken from us, but thank goodness we got to have a few years with her. Our deepest condolences to Marg, Greg , Anita, Dawn and Joe.
