Obituary of Linda Johnston Smith
June 29, 1954 - Sept 20, 2023It is with immense sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Linda Johnston Smith (nee Donald). Born in Stirling Scotland, she moved to Canada with her family in 1965, settling in Fort Erie. Linda was a hard worker; she always kept an immaculately clean house and was very passionate about gardening, which was evident to anyone who visited her. Linda’s chocolate chip squares were always the favourite at any party. Her recipe will be a family treasure. Loving partner of Jim McPhee for almost 20 years, beloved step-daughter to Patricia Street, she has left a void in our hearts and will be forever missed by her children Rob (Lindsay) and Sheena (Raoul), her grandsons Blagomire, Brody and Cullen, as well as the McPhee family. Predeceased by her parents, Robert Donald and Jessie Watt. Linda will also be remembered by her many friends and extended family around town. A private family gathering will be held in her honour at a later date.
