Obituary of Linda Marian Hardy

June 24, 1947 - April 6, 2019

Linda Marian Hardy, passed away peacefully with family holding her hand at Oakwood Park Lodge nursing home, in her 72nd year. Linda fought a courageous battle with severe arthritis which disabled her in her early 50’s and lead to an array of other health issues. Linda was a very special mom and friend to her 2 children, Janice (Louis) Kertesz and Chris Hardy (Andrea). She had four loving grandchildren, Sam Hardy, Charlotte Hardy, Brianna McDonald and Taylor McDonald, all of whom she cherished but wished she could have done more with if not held back by her disability. She will be sadly missed by all her family, including her two nieces Lori and Julie, who she loved dearly. Linda has been reunited with her parents John and Judy Hull. Linda loved playing bingo and will miss her Friday afternoon outings to see her friends at Delta Monte Carlo Bingo. Thank you to the caring staff and her friends at Oakwood Park Lodge and special thanks to Sheryl, Jin, Rachel, Marie and Destiny for all your kind words and support during her difficult journey. Your care and concern meant so much to her and us. In accordance with Linda's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Niagara Falls Humane Society, which can be made by calling Essentials (905-354-2133) or on Linda's online tribute page found at essentialscbs.com.
