Obituary of Lenny Grenville
Born on February 24, 1947 and passed away on the morning of September 29, 2023, at the age of 76. He was surrounded by the love of his life, his devoted wife of 26 years, Carol. Lenny is also survived by his two stepsons, William and Shawn. He is predeceased by his loving parents, Walter and Lura, and brother, Les. He will undoubtedly be missed by many friends and family. Lenny was not only a beloved husband and stepfather but also a man with a deep passion for life. He was an avid Toronto Blue Jays fan, and his enthusiasm for the team was a source of joy for those who knew him. Another one of Lenny's cherished pastimes was playing bridge at the Bridge Center of Niagara. He possessed a sharp mind and a love for strategic thinking, which made him a formidable opponent at the bridge table. In accordance with Lenny's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements for Lenny have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SickKids in Lenny’s memory.Service Information

Carol, our condolences to you and your family. Len was a good friend and I’ll always remember the good times we had working together on MTO projects with Morrison Hershfield. He will be missed. Hope to stay in touch.
Carol my sincere condolences on the passing of Lenny. He was always willing to crack a joke, always so happy. My prayers are with you and your boys during this time.
With sympathy, Lenny was a lovely man
Carol my condolences with the passing of Lenny. It was good to talk to you last week. We had lots of good times in Florida and I and I am still grateful that you gave us the opportunity to stay for a few days at your place and see what Florida is all about (not for me after all). I have known Lenny from bridge since 1996 and thereafter through work as the auditor on the contracts Lenny was administrating through Morrison Hershfield. We had many arguments and Lenny would get mad and say things that were not right. But Lenny would always apologize afterwards and still be best friends. It will leave a large hole in your life Carol but I am sure that you will overcome that as you have in the past. Stay in touch
I had worked with Lenny in the early days of the MTC, highways department. That was the beginning of the 406 extension to the QEW in St. Catharines. The MTC site trailers were situated on Martindale Rd. This would have been 1980’s. Lenny was a great guy to be around and work with. The fond memories of those days gone by. My sympathies to his family and Lenny’s passing.
We have made a donation in Len’s Memory

I am very sorry for your loss. I worked with Lenny when I first started out in the engineering field in the mid ’80’s. He had a huge influence on my career and life at the time. He certainly was a man to be remembered, and I’ve thought of him often over the years.
Rest in Peace Lenny
