Obituary of Laura "Laurie" Ann Lynn Young

January 8, 1963 - March 4, 2026

It is with profound sadness & heartache that our family shares the passing of our beloved Laura Ann Lynn Young.

A daughter. A sister. A mother. An aunt. A friend. Our Laurie.

Laura will be immensely missed by her children; Timothy and Deborah (Nathan), her mother; Marilyn, her brothers; Timothy (Judi) and Jeffery, and her nieces and nephews; Sean, Josh, Nora, Elicia, William, Jonathon, and Christopher; who she loved so much. As well as the many friends and co-workers she touched the lives of with her kindness, thoughtfulness, and love.

Remembered fondly by her adventurous and fun spirit, devotion to helping others, love of nature & animals, enthusiasm for cooking, and the truly caring & compassionate person she was.

Laurie is now reunited with her father; Timothy Young and Grandmother; Reta Noonan, as well as her beloved dogs; Dusty, Jossette and Genevieve.

She may not be here with us, but she will always be in our hearts and thoughts every single day.

Forever loved, forever missed, and forever lovingly remembered.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Laurie’s honour on July 11th, 2026, from 1pm-5pm at the Port Robinson Community Centre located at 40 Cross Street, Port Robinson, ON.

Thinking of you all at this very sad time. May all the wonderful memories of Laurie warm your hearts. My favourite memory of Laurie was her giggle. It was one of a kind and it always made me laugh. RIP Laurie.
