Obituary of Larry Franklin Millar
Larry Franklin Millar, born May 2, 1949, passed away suddenly on October 17, 2024. He was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.Larry is predeceased by his cherished wife, Julie Millar (2013), and his daughter, Jody Millar (2009). He is survived by his son, Lawrence, and his grandchildren: Chelsea (Wes), Bailey (Jack), Katreana, Brandon, and Lawson, along with his great-grandson, Benson. He also leaves behind many loving brothers and sisters.
A dedicated worker, Larry retired as a foreman from Stelco over thirty years ago. He had a passion for fishing and hunting, and was always up for a chat over coffee. Larry and Julia enjoyed countless road trips across the United States, creating memories that will last forever. Known for his generosity, he would give the shirt off his back and was always willing to lend a hand. Larry was also an avid collector, building a unique assortment of beer bottles and phone books from the cities he visited.
In honor of Larry’s memory, donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) or the Niagara Peninsula Foundation for Children.
In keeping with Larry's wishes, cremation has taken place and arrangements are entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services.

Sorry for your loss! I went by yesterday to his house! He was worried that id die leaving him without a friend to talk to but he left me! We met in grade 7 at quaker rd school! We are the same age!
