Obituary of Larissa Elizabeth Crawford

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Larissa Elizabeth Crawford on November 24, 2021.
Family was Larissa's first priority. She was the loving wife to John Lopoyda, devoted mother to John (Tina), George and Veronica (Bob Jagersky) and cherished grandmother to Christopher, Patrick and Andrew.
Beyond spending time with her grandchildren, Larissa loved to travel across the United States and Canada. She was happiest when she was on the road with a good book in hand while Elvis songs played in the background. Larissa worked on a family farm for many years and then started her own trucking business, Razor.
In keeping with Larissa's wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905 354 2133) Online condolences may be shared on Larissa's tribute page found at EssentialsNiagara.com

I’m thinking of all you “kids” and how much you must miss your Mom and Grandmother at Christmas. I pray you have many memories of wonderful times you had at Christmas when she was there with you.

I was just informed about the passing of your Mother, Larissa. May the Lord keep his arms wrapped around her. Since I have lived in the States for so many years, I lost touch with all of you. I would love to hear from all of you, especially Veronica, since I am your God mother. My email is: [email protected]. My name is Virginia Genest (Marczak). I will think of your Mother often and I will await some communictions from you.

Very sad to hear of Larissa’s passing. My brother Mike and I had many fun times as kids out at the farm playing with the kids. I’d love to see or hear from some of you – it has been a while. Please look me up – I’m in the book. Take care.

I’m so very sorry to hear my cousin Larissa has passed away. I thank God it was peacefully. Living in Fergus, we weren’t able to see each other very often but cherished the time we had together. Weddings, Ukrainian Christmases, funerals, summer holidays. She bonded with my sister Veronica who I’m sure has been celebrating with the angels in heaven now that they are together again. Larissa loved laughter.. She was a very good person and willing to reach out to help others whenever she could. She suffered some grievous losses in her life and didn’t have it easy but she did her best, toughed out the difficult times and loved her family above all. I have nothing but good memories of her. I know you will too and share your grief that she is not with us now. Rest In Peace, Larissa.
