In Loving Memory of
Kevin Douglas Maillet

Obituary of Kevin Douglas Maillet
Kevin Maillet passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Hamilton General Hospital on Monday August 16th, 2021, at the age of 51. He was a loving husband to Courtney Maillet (Marton) and loving father to Bella and Hunter. Cherished son of Darlene and Richard Maillet. Son in-law to Randy and Rosanne Marton, brother in-law to Billy and April Marton and uncle to Brody and Blake Marton. Kevin is also leaving behind many good friends.Kevin was a great family man. He liked to fish, camp and to rock out! Kevin also had a passion for sports; Go Habs Go! Kevin always loved to cook; in the kitchen he would turn up his rock music, headbang, and manage to cook at the same time. Kevin loved his heavy metal, on his way home from work, he would pull into the driveway blasting his music and pretend like he was playing the drums on his steering wheel. That’s when we would say “Dad must be home”. Kevin was also a good person to talk to, whenever you needed to talk he was there. Kevin went out with a bang and passed away at 4:20pm, isn’t that something.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and the ICU team, as well as the family and friends that were with us. As Kevin wouldn’t want to be in the ground with bugs, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Kevin, you will be missed greatly and forever in our hearts. We love you.

Kevin was a joker. Always laughing and having a good time. He taught me so much in the electrical supply field and was always good to shoot the shit with. He spoke of his family all the time and loved life. I send my condolences to his family and he will live with me forever in so many ways. 🙏 rest in peace buddy.
Much Love,
