Obituary of Kayleen Porter

It is with utmost sorrow that on Friday, July 3, 2020, Kayleen ‘Miss Kay’ Porter, daughter, loving mother of three, partner and devoted grandmother, passed away at the age of 46. Kayleen was born on June 17, 1974 to Ronda Friesman, whom she loved and cherished. She is truly missed by her stepfather and friend, Wayne Berkeley. A wonderful partner to her best friend, Parag Joshi. Kayleen is survived by her two ‘sisters’ by heart, April Warrington and Michelle Pattison. She leaves behind her daughters, Allyshia (Reinholdt), Destiny, Chyanne, and will always be remembered by her grandson Alexander, whom she adored with her whole heart and soul. Kayleen had an extraordinary love for helping those around her, especially her friends, beloved family, or members of the community. She was known for her vibrant personality and beautiful spirit. She enjoyed spending time with her partner and extended family, which exemplified how much love was shared with her children and grandchild. As an avid animal lover, Kayleen cared deeply for her two dogs, KiKi and Titan, as well as her ‘grandfurs’, Hazel and Leela. Cremation has taken place and arrangements are entrusted with Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905-354-2133). At this time, given the pandemic, the family wishes to have a very private, ‘celebration of life’ to honour Kayleen, however in the future, there will be a larger celebration for all family and friends to attend.
