Obituary of Katherine "Kathy" Jean Hogue
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Katherine Jean Hogue on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at the age of 40. She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, partner, and friend, leaving behind a void that can never be filled. Kathy's legacy lives on through her children, Jason and Liam, as well as her parents, Rick (Linda) Hogue, and Bridget (Ron Nelson) Hogue. Her memory will forever be cherished by her brothers, Rick (Tracy) and Steven (Stacey), her partner Chris Kelly, and her Grandmother Jean O’Brien. She will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends. The compassion shown by the doctors and nursing staff at GNGH ICU, as well as the care provided by Aunt Kim and Uncle Shawn, will always be remembered. In accordance with Kathy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and arrangements are entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services. A Celebration of Kathy's Life will be held on Sunday, September 3, 2023, from 1-4pm at Club Capri, 36 Cleveland St, Thorold. With deepest sympathies to Jason, Liam, and all her family and friends. I met Kat in 2009 when she underwent intensive office training at Star Tile. It was a short 4 days but I will always remember how much she loved her boys. Her eyes shone whenever she spoke of them.
Blessings to all.

The passing of Kathy will leave a great void in the lives of many people! We will miss her smile and her laughter and the love she showed to family. Her boys will feel an emptiness that can only be lessened by the continued love of their Grandparents, Uncles and Aunts and extended family members. Be at Peace Miss Kathy, may God comfort you and may you also be greeted and welcomed into Heaven by those whom have gone before you. With love from a distant Uncle, Uncle Stee
