Obituary of Julie Ann Speirs
It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Julie on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at the Greater Niagara Hospital, at the age of 58. Left to mourn her loss is her son, Chris and her daughter Elisha (Eric) McLean. She was an amazing Grandma of Liam, Nolan and Kinsley. Dear sister of Denise, sister-in-law to Elizabeth Speirs, she will also be lovingly remembered by her partner Chris Scordino. Julie was predeceased by her parents Valerie and Allan, and sister Natalie.Julie was a hard worker. When she wasn't working you would find her spending time with her grandchildren. Nothing meant more to her than family. She would drop everything whenever she was asked to be with her grandkids, and always did without any hesitation or question. She also enjoyed playing Bingo and going to the casino, which through the years she got quite lucky!
The family would like to extend a special thank you to her friends Pat, John and Heather Higgins for their support and care. In keeping with Julie's wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905-354-2133). If desired, memorial donations towards the charity "For the Needy, Not The Greedy would be appreciated by Julie's family.

I worked with Julie for a couple of years, she was not only a hard worker but incredibly kind. There was a warmth about her wherever she went. My condolences to all her friends and family.
