Obituary of Judith "Dode" Coffey

Coffey, Judith "Dode"
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Dode, on Thursday, June 13, 2019, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, at the age of 73. Loving wife for 54 years of Ronald and devoted mother of Colleen (Trevor) Mason and Sean (Brenda) Coffey. Cherished Grandma of her adored grandchildren; Clancy, Carling, Kate and Matthew. Dode will be missed by her siblings, Jane Pierre and Stephen (Adele) Pierre, her nephews Jeremy and Justin Pierre, her Uncle Don Pierre, also by her many cousins and extended family. She was predeceased by her parents Reg and Betty Pierre and by father-in-law and mother-in-law Reg and Flora Coffey. The most important part of Dodes's world was her family. She was the matriarch and the "heart of our family" and she will be forever loved and remembered. A special thanks to the Niagara EMS for their quick response and care that they gave to Judith. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Judith's Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted with Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905-354-2133). As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be given to the Alzheimer Society. Online condolences may be shared on Dode's tribute page found at EssentialsNiagara.com.
