I am very saddened to hear of your loss, I will always remember Jonathan very fondly he was always so kind and a beacon of light in my own dark times. My deepest sympathy to his family and loved ones.
So sorry for your loss, but it brings joy to our hearts just knowing that he is having an active fulfillment in one of Jehovah’s prophecy in Revelation 20:6, “Happy and holy is anyone having part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no authority, but they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and they will rule as kings with him for the 1,000 years.” May this scripture and Jehovah’s holy spirit bring peace to you, your mother and your family.
Miriam and family;
Please accept my deepest respect and condolences on Jonathan’s passing. His life was exemplary to anyone who ever had the privilege to know him. He will always live on in our hearts.
Over the years I have enjoyed working with Jonathan on various Circuit Assignments, and I always appreciated that Jonathan never allowed anything to distract him from his assignments. He was completely devoted to Jehovah, and His Kingdom was first and foremost in his life. My wife Rebecca and I both agree, Jonathan will be missed.

To the family of Jonathan Barnes,
Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Jonathan, a husband, father and grandfather.
I knew Jonathan to be a loving, thoughtful man, who loved his family, and cared deeply about his extended family. Jonathan went through the trials and anxieties common to man. His faith and loyalty to his God Jehovah, was always apparent. He and his family believed that there is so much more to life than birth and death, and that his own life would be “changed” forever. To Jonathan’s family, Miriam, Kevin, Lisanne, Chloe and Jadon, my sincere heartfelt condolences. A devoted man who left a legacy, as an example of life well lived, promises kept, and devotion to his Glorious God Jehovah. I know he will be missed by all whom he touched in his life.
Margaret Corry.

Very good memories of the time you were here in Huntsville. Sending love and condolences to you Miriam and your family
My memories are a little vague, as our family moved from Huntsville in 1966, but I do recall a kind gentle servant of Jehovah, who worked hard to stabilize our congregation. A positive memory during a tumultuous period in my life.
What a comfort it is to know with certainty that Jon’s record of faithful service goes well with Jehovah, who never fails to reward his loyal ones.
Br. Barnes was always a great help to my family over the years. He will be missed, yet always remembered.
