Obituary of John William Hope
We are heartbroken to announce John Hope’s unexpected, peaceful passing at his residence on January 5, 2022 in his 63rd year. Survived by his father Billy Hope, brother Edward (Susan), sister Tracy, and niece Ryah Wheeler. Predeceased by his mother Therese Hope (1998) and brother-in-law Doug Wheeler (2021). He will be dearly missed by his many friends, relatives, and his four legged pal Diamond.John was a sheet metal worker for many years, but is best known for his service to Beer on Wheels. He will be missed by many customers.In his younger years, John was a heavyweight boxer for the Niagara Boxing Club. He was a dedicated sports fan, especially of the Montreal Canadiens and Pittsburgh Steelers. He was most content watching old movies, enjoying a drink on the front porch, listening to music, and being with friends and family. He will be forever remembered for his kind nature, heart of gold, and big smile.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905-354-2133). As per John’s wishes cremation has taken place. Due to COVID-19 regulations, a celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Niagara Falls Soup Kitchen. I just found out of John’s passing. My deepest condolences to his family. He was a wonderful person. He was my son’s godfather. He will be sadly missed.

I am blessed with such great memories of Johnny “The Kid” and his family from our younger days: NFCVI, the basement bar on Eastwood, fishing trips to Noganosh, bluegrass festivals, concerts, and so many good times.

I was heart ❤ broken when I heard the nsws. John and I went to elementary school together and later high school. Was a great guy and always in good spirits. God speed his soul , whenever we Seen each other it was cheerful. Condolences to the family and all his friends 🙏

I will miss you Cuz, you had a kind heart filled with Love and Laughter.
It’s hard to come up with words. John was an example of a kind, living and spiritual being. It’s so eye opening to realize this amazing man will no longer be in our lives. He will beissed by so very many especially by his dad, his brother Ed , his sister Tracy and his niece and friend Ryah. So many many friends will miss seeing that smiling face. May he rest in peace.
