Obituary of John Bazil Rowan
Sadly we announce that in the early morning hours of Saturday, April 29, 2023 John Bazil Rowan peacefully passed away at Woodlands of Sunset. John leaves behind his daughter, two sons, a step-daughter, seven grandchildren and his sister. He has been reunited with his parents and a most of his siblings.John was born in Bracebridge, Ontario and worked for many years as a purchasing agent for the engineering firm, Hepburn. He was a very gentle and soft spoken man who loved to spend time in nature. So much so, he would travel down a dirt road whenever he got the chance. He had a passion for photography, astronomy and animals. He will be terribly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services. A Celebration of Johns's life will be held at a later date.
His family would like to thank the staff at Woodlands of Sunset for the care and compassion shown towards John during his brief stay and to Trillium Health Network. If desired, donations in John's memory may be made to Men's Mental Health or Mississauga Animal Services.

Helen, Debbie, Danielle, Cameron and family, my deepest of sympathies to your entire family. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time. It has been many years since I have seen John but I remember him as such a calm kind and friendly man. May he Rest In Peace and your memories with him keep you in comfort.
