Obituary of John Frank Pendola

With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of John Frank Pendola on Monday October 9, 2023 in Niagara Falls at the age of 69. He has been reunited with his parents, John and Mary (née Taylor). Left to mourn his loss are his sister Gigi Collucci (Jim), daughter Nicole, grandson Seth, nephew Nicholas (KarLee), nieces Jennifer Ausman (John) and Rose Lindsay (Rory), close friends Diane, Hilary and Lal, as well as many cousins and anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him.

John was a very intelligent man and loved to learn about the cosmos, string theory and the Bible. He was never afraid to ask questions. He proudly served in the Marine Corps for many years. He was a dual citizen, both American and Canadian and loved both countries.
He enjoyed work in construction and belonged to the Union in Niagara Falls, New York. John had a great sense of humor and a knack for making everyone laugh. His strong willed but kind and soft hearted nature will be sorely missed.

In keeping with his wish, cremation has taken place and no funeral will take place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Greater Niagara Humane Society in John's memory.

Johnny was a good friend with great integrity who did the best that he could for as long as he could. His absence is as prominant as his presence was, RIP Johnny.

There are so many good memories visiting Aunt May and Uncle John on Ashland and as far back as Michigan Ave. Johnny was so good with all the dogs in the Pendola household and was so full of fun and love. He had Uncle John’s dry sense of humor and Aunt May’s sense of playfullness. Remember the good times Gigi. Love Mary Ellen

I/we pledge to make a memorial donation.
