Obituary of John J. O'Donoghue
O'Donoghue, Johnathan J. Surrounded by the love of his family, John passed away on Thursday April 9, 2026, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, at the age of 77. Predeceased by his loving wife of fifty years, Pam. Devoted father of Michael (Liz) and Terry (Heather). Special grandfather to James, Jessica and Hayley (Joe). Loving great-grandfather to Alexander John. John was survived by his sisters Joanne and Dorean (Ken) and predeceased by his parents James and Mary and brother Dan.John dedicated many years volunteering within his community, supporting organizations including Minor Hockey, Tender Wishes and Project Share. Throughout the years, John was active in several hobbies including enduro bike racing and was an avid hot rodder. John will be missed by his extended family and his circle of friends including his hot rod community.
In accordance with John's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. A private graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery.
