In Loving Memory of
Jim Mann
1954-2022
Obituary of Jim Mann
After being on oxygen due to respiratory difficulties for 10 years and surviving a double lung transplant in October 2021, Jim contracted Covid five weeks ago and put up a very hard fight to beat this horrible virus. He peacefully succumbed to it on April 15, 2022 at the age of 67.
Jim was a devoted, loving, caring, supportive husband, best friend and soulmate of Lori Auld Mann. Jim was a proud and cherished father of Jennifer “Jen Jen” Mann and Paul Birch, Christopher Mann (Sarah), Lucas and Linda Leskiw, Stephanie Leskiw and Dan Tredenick. Loving, generous and adored grandfather of Maddison, Kaden and Maverick Birch, Nikolas and Erik Leskiw, and Mason and Paige Mann. Brother of the late David and Carolyn Mann. Cherished brother-in-law of Leslie and Mel McInnis, John Auld and Allison Willick, Lisa Auld and Kevin Campbell and Rosemarie Auld. Much loved uncle of Steven (Alicia) and Christopher Auld, Laura McInnis (David), Adam McInnis (Christina), Eric (Kerko), David, Ben (Jess) and Jake Terryberry. Best buddy of great-nephew Jackson Auld. Much loved nephew of Robert and Joan Kerr. Jim will also be greatly missed by the Foriere and Remollino families in Australia.
Jim was a tried-and-true Toronto Maple Leafs fan. He was very quick-witted and had an amazing sense of humour. Jim was overly generous and never asked for anything in return. He loved his Pepsi, pies and ice cream, butter tarts and chocolate. Jim was a very accomplished salesman in any field he chose. Jim was loved by everyone and a great friend to many.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905-354-2133). As per his wishes cremation has taken place. Online condolences may be shared on Jim’s tribute page found at EssentialsNiagara.com
