He will be fondly remembered by his sister, Jeanette (Rick) DeDecker and their family, as well as many friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Margaret (2011) and Michel (1993) Pieters, and by his brother, Robert Pieters (1961).Jerry was born on April 5, 1951, in Tillsonburg, Ontario. He spent his early years growing up on the family’s tobacco farm. In 1974 he moved to Burlington, where he resided until his passing. He dedicated over 30 years as a real estate agent, proudly helping families find their special home.
Jerry had a passion for golf and was an avid sports enthusiast, often seen watching and cheering on his favorite teams. He was a dedicated Rotarian for a number of years as well as a past President of the Appleby Tennis Club. He cherished the camaraderie of his friends in the men's group at Crosswinds Golf Club and the annual Pinehurst golf trips.

Many early mornings at the various golf courses just north of Burlington was a norm back many years ago with Jerry. Always smilin’ no matter where the ball had to be found…not on the short stuff. One of the great members of BLRotary from the prior era of the club. We will miss you and thanks for all those great confabs out on the course.
Lots of happy memories shared when we all lived on Castleguard Cres. Burlington in the late 1970s. RIP Jerry.
We are so very sorry to hear of Jerry’s sudden passing. Since working with him at North Walmart, I enjoyed his smile, and a quick laugh.
My husband Brian enjoyed working with him at South Walmart, and was thrilled when he followed him to the North location. Brian and Jerry both having daughters enjoyed their breaks and lunches talking about their girls, and how well you all have done, despite
All of our guidance. Jerry will be very much missed.

Had a lot of fun playing tennis with Jerry a few years back and we always had a fun great time. I know he will be missed. So sorry for your loss!!
Jerry helped my family purchase our first home over 20 years ago. He was a dear friend to my dad and always had a kind smile on his face. Sending our sincere condolences to his family at this time.
