Obituary of Jennie (Jean) Hare
Jennie (Jean) Hare passed away on May 16, 2023 at the age of 93. Predeceased by her best friend and husband Alec, parents Eva & James Deleff (Hurkett, ON), brother John, sister-in-law Margaret Ann Tabaka (Hare). She is survived by her sons Michael & John Hare, daughter Donna Hill (Hugh), grandchildren Hugh Jr. and Jennie Hill, sister-in-law Doris Deleff, nieces and nephews.Jean's best interests were her family, First Baptist Church, Meals-on-Wheels & hospital volunteering and helping others.
Thank you to all who looked after Jennie, including the St. Catharines Hospital, Walker Family Cancer Centre and GNGH Trillium Unit. We appreciate all you have done.
In keeping with Jean's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A private burial for the family will be held at a later date. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Walker Family Cancer Centre. Arrangements are entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services.

I spent time with Jean when she volunteered in the GNGH X-ray department. Such a truly lovely lady. She always brightened my day and I loved her baked goods. She’s remembered with fondness
