Obituary of Jelle “Jerry” Cornelisse
After a brief illness, Jelle passed away peacefully on October 3, 2024, at the age of 95. Father of Tom (the late Dency), Ed (Lucille Lopeke), Karen (Jim Bulek). Father-in-law to Tim Clapp. Jelle will be dearly missed by his best friend Brian Weaver and is survived by Winnie Cornelisse. Jelle was a long-time dedicated employee and retired from Robinhood Multi Foods. He was a familiar face in the flea market industry, buy and selling at his booth, and he enjoyed stopping by the coffee shop for a visit.A special thank you to Jenna, Katie and Dr. Scher at the Douglas Memorial Hospital and to Pastor Betty, Pastor Shane and his friends at Faith Tabernacle in Welland, for their compassionate care and support. In accordance with Jelle’s wishes, cremation has taken place. In memory of Jelle, buy someone their coffee. Ik houd van je.
