Obituary of Jean-Francois "Frank" Joseph

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Jean-Francois “Frank” Joseph, a man remembered for his sharp mind, generous spirit, and unwavering sense of humour.
He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Deborah Joseph (née VanTrigt), as well as his children, Erik Joseph and Stephen Joseph. He is mourned by his father, Bernard Joseph, and is now reunited in heaven with his mother, Donalda Joseph (née Lebresseur), as well as his father-in-law, Richard VanTrigt, and mother-in-law, Karen VanTrigt (née Bridgman).

Frank will be fondly remembered by his siblings: Vivian Joseph (Robert Fudek), Chantal Joseph (Tony McLean), and David Joseph (Jennifer Fretz), as well as his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Deneece VanTrigt (Andy Brzozowski) and Nadeen VanTrigt (Dennis Gomes).
He shared a lifelong friendship of over 40 years with his best friend, Ron Hutchinson. Frank leaves behind many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, all of whom will carry his memory in their hearts.

He was a skilled ham radio operator, always ready to connect and communicate. Professionally, he worked as a millwright, and was known for his expertise in woodworking, mechanics, and electronics, a truly mechanically inclined and electronically handy man.
His talents extended far beyond the workplace. He was handy in every sense, known for crafting thoughtful gifts, including little furniture for his spouse’s nieces’ Barbies, a gesture that reflected both his craftsmanship and his kindness. Frank had a good sense of humour that could brighten any room. In his younger years, he practiced martial arts, a passion that highlighted his discipline and strength. He also had a love for trucks, and was often found under the hood or behind the wheel, fully in his element.
He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and skill, a man who could fix just about anything and always had a joke or two ready. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
In keeping with Frank’s wishes, burial will take place at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens (2250 RR 20, Fonthill, ON L0S 1E6) on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Frank.
