Obituary of Jared William Depenning
With shattered hearts we announce the sudden passing of Jared William Depenning on October 31st, 2022 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital at the young age of 20 years old. Left behind to mourn is his father Jason Depenning and his step-mom Christine Kay, his siblings Blaire, Desi and McKailah, his grandparents Cedric Depenning and Gloria (Ray) Armbrust. Jared was greeted on the other side by his mother, Melissa (2020) and his grandmother Sarah Depenning (2022).Jared was a one of a kind young man. Not afraid to speak his mind. He was born in St. Catharines, attended Lincoln Centennial Elementary school and then moved on to graduate from Greater Fort Erie Secondary School in 2021. His passions were fishing in the Niagara River, playing Pokemon and hockey video games and watching W.W.E wrestling. He was forever a hockey fan. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services. Cremation has taken place and a time to gather has been put aside on Thursday, November 10, 2022 between 6:00 p.m and 8:00 p.m to share some memories of Jared.
The family would like to send their sincere thanks to Dr. Doyle and the staff of the I.C.U at Greater Niagara General Hospital, Mary Homes in Ottawa and Community Living in Fort Erie for their care and compassion. If desired, donations in memory of Jared may be made to Community Living (Fort Erie).

Jared was a fantastically unique individual. He was always game for a laugh and a joke, and he always made me smile. His bright light will be profoundly missed by all those who were blessed with knowing him. Sending all the love I have to those who knew and loved him. I will miss you Jared, rest easy.
Jared was an incredible young man with a heart of gold. He cared so deeply for those in his life. He had an incredible sense of humour and a beautiful heart. I am so grateful for the time I shared with Jared. I will think of him often and fondly. He made such an impact in a short amount of time. He will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to all of his family for their loss. Sending you all love and strength in this incredibly difficult time.
Jared was one of kind. I am so very lucky I had the chance to spend so much time with him over the last 6 months. He brought joy to many people, with his big smile and energetic personality. Ill miss watching hockey and playing baseball with him and sharing so many laughs . He will always be in my thoughts and in my heart. I’m thinking of you all during this very hard time.
You have my deepest sympathies on the loss of Jared. I was one of Jared’s Support Workers at CLFE. His smile was contagious, and he always had a good joke to tell. He was kind, thoughtful, caring and funny. Jared always knew what he wanted, and would set goals to make it happen. He loved to go fishing, walking along the water, playing NHL video games and WWE. He was larger than life, and will never be forgotten. Please know the love for his family was immense, and he always spoke lovingly about all of you <3
Thinking of all of you during this difficult time.i was blessed and honored to be one of Jared’s primary workers. I will.miss his smile and resourcefulness and sense of humor. I will miss his daily jokes and sports updates when I arrived on shift. He was a kind and caring young man who will always hold a piece in my heart.

Sincerest condolences!
I am so sorry for the loss of Jared. I spent every Monday and Thursday with him and listened to all his stories and we laughed and laughed. Jared always told me how much you all meant to him and how he loved his time with you. Last Thursday Jared and I went to visit his Grandfather Cedric and Jared enjoyed being able to spend time with him. Jared had the most amazing friends at Murray who truly loved him and Kristina who absolutely adored him. I am truly blessed to have been afforded the opportunity to be a part of his life. May God Bless you all and know he was truly loved by all.
