Obituary of Janet Isabelle Pearson (née Grindall)
Sadly, on Friday, December 20, 2024, with her family by her side, Janet passed away at Bella Senior Care in Niagara Falls at the age of 82. She was predeceased by her sister Elaine Russell. She was a proud mother to Juanita Pearson-Clark (John), Janice Pearson, John Pearson, Dena Letourneau (Jack Quiquero) and Michael Pearson (Denise). Cherished grandma to Grant, Alysha, Daniel, James, Richard, Thomas, Lauren and Lucas. Great grandma to Layla, Abby and Aidan.Janet was a dedicated healthcare aide for 35 years at Oakwood Park Lodge, where her compassion and selflessness touched the lives of many. In her retirement she was honoured with the Niagara Falls Volunteer Award for her continued service with seniors. Janet will be remembered for her remarkable strength, independence and giving spirit. She enjoyed family gatherings, playing cards, Tai Chi, line dancing, and attending community events.
Her family wishes to express their thanks to the staff at Bella Senior Care, especially those on the Orchards Unit.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will be held in the future. Arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services in Niagara Falls. If desired, donations in Janet's memory may be made to Project Share.
