Obituary of Jane Marie Harrison (nee Kurdelmeyer)

We sadly announce that on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 just 5 days into her 67th year, Jane Marie Harrison (née Kurdelmeyer) passed away at Hospice Niagara. She has been reunited with her parents Bill and Nance (née Garry). Jane was a devoted wife to George for almost 41 years, a caring mother to their three sons; Tyler Harrison (Justina), Ryan Harrison (Kaitlyn) and Adam Harrison (Laura Bissonette), adored Gammie to her three granddaughters; Mabel, Everly and Gwen and dear sister to Sue Molter (Jay), John Kurdelmeyer (Rhonda) and Jim Kurdelmeyer. Jane will be fondly remembered by her childhood friends, The Goody Goodies.

Jane enjoyed being on her father's farm where her love for horseback riding blossomed early in life. Known for her unwavering positivity and compassionate spirit, she always maintained the perspective that someone else always had it worse than she did. Professionally, Jane was a dental assistant for many years but retired as a credit analyst for the Laurentian Bank. Beyond her work, she found immense joy in spending time with her family, who were her greatest passion. Whether bringing her boys to or watching her boys play hockey, or traveling together, she treasured every moment spent with her loved ones.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of Jane's life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services in Welland. If desired, donations in memory of Jane may be made to Cancer Research or to Hospice Niagara and would be appreciated by her family.
